Job summary

Oregon Community Credit Union (OCCU) is seeking an Insurance Agency Director (Remote in OR) to lead OCCU’s insurance services program and contribute as a producer. This role drives growth, strengthens carrier relationships, and enhances the member experience across Personal and Commercial Lines.

The successful candidate will coach agents, set measurable goals, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide initiatives to profitability while maintaining a high-performing team in a dynamic credit union

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Property and Casualty license required.
• Bachelor’s degree or proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes.
• MBA or CPCU/CISR/CIC AIS or other relevant designation preferred.
• Experience leading insurance agents and processing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop insurance agents and processors with clear expectations and accountability.
• Contribute as a producer while growing the team’s new business, retention, and service.
• Develop insurance strategies, roadmaps, and measurable initiatives; lead execution.
• Grow OCCU’s Personal Lines and Commercial Lines business.
• Evaluate products, pricing, service offerings, and workflows for profitability and member value.
• Manage carrier and external partner relationships and identify new products.
