Job summary

Kemper, a leading insurer, is seeking a Sales Executive to serve as a brand ambassador with partnerships and the agency force in Austin, TX. You will grow profitable revenue by expanding the agency network, pursuing new opportunities and delivering market insights to leadership.

The role requires extensive field activity, in-person agency visits, and training agents on underwriting guidelines and rating tools. A strong communicator with strategic thinking will excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
• 1+ years Insurance experience preferred.
• Bilingual a plus; strong communication and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow profitable revenue in a defined territory through agency relationships and partnerships.
• Prospect new opportunities, make personal visits and manage field sales activities.
• Collect and disseminate market intelligence and trends to leadership.
• Train agents on underwriting guidelines, procedures, programs, websites and rating tools.
• Maintain up-to-date records of activity, agency intel and paperwork.
• Travel outside territory may be frequent and extensive.
