Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. is seeking an Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform commercial insurance inspections across the coverage territory.

You will visit facilities, capture site observations, photos, and measurements, and document findings in underwriting reports via our website. The role emphasizes timely reporting, excellent communication with the Field Manager, and the ability to work from home with a reliable internet connection.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Loss Control providers or carriers
• Deep knowledge of commercial lines: Property, General Liability, Inland Marine
• Ability to identify building construction and ISO classes
• Broad understanding of NFPA codes
• Strong writing, organization and time management
• Must work from home with reliable internet and a vehicle
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to climb a ladder up to 6 feet
• Digital camera or smartphone for photos
• Measuring wheel and camera pole or similar tools

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations with measurements and photos per carrier requirements
• Identify building and roof construction type and hazards
• Complete assignments and reports by due dates
• Communicate with Field Manager to complete inspections cost-effectively
• Coordinate the time and date of inspections with insured onsite
• Prepare and report inspection results, upload photos and diagrams
• Travel to insured locations, possibly overnight travel
