Job summary

Regional Reporting, Inc. (RRI) seeks an experienced Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform commercial insurance inspections across our coverage territory.

You will observe facilities, measure and photograph sites, and document findings in underwriting reports. The role requires minimum 2 years of loss control experience, knowledge of Property, General Liability and Inland Marine, strong writing and time management, and the ability to work from home with a PC and phone.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience with Loss Control providers or major carriers.
• Knowledge of commercial lines: Property, General Liability, Inland Marine.
• Ability to identify building construction and ISO classes.
• Familiarity with NFPA codes.
• Strong writing, organizational, and computer skills.
• Must work from home with PC and internet and cell phone.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; driving may be required.
• Ability to climb a ladder up to 6 feet.

Responsibilities

• Record onsite observations, take measurements and photos per carrier requirements.
• Identify building construction type, ISO class, and potential hazards.
• Complete assignments and reports by due dates.
• Communicate with Field Manager to ensure cost-effective inspections.
• Schedule inspections with insured representatives onsite.
• Prepare and report inspection results; upload photos and diagrams.
• Travel to insured locations; overnight travel may be required.
