Harris Computer’s MEDHOST division is seeking an Account Follow-up Representative II to review and resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts. The role requires learning multiple hospital systems and collaborating with third-party payors to obtain necessary information for resolution.

This is a remote position eligible for candidates within the United States. You will manage 40–50 accounts per day, address denials and payor issues, and prepare adjustments and appeals as

Qualifications

• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes impacting insurance reimbursements.
• Knowledge of insurance follow-up processes and healthcare reimbursement concepts.
• Proficiency with telephone systems for outbound/inbound calls.
• Access PHI in accordance with assignments/guidelines.
• Accurate arithmetic computations.

Responsabilités

• Timely follow-up on outstanding insurance payments and verify claim status.
• Handle 40–50 accounts per workday for assigned payors.
• Address denials and $0 pay reports within 24 hours of receipt.
• Gather necessary patient demographics and insurance information for resolution.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to complete assignments.
• Analyze denial/variance trends and communicate with cross‑functional teams.
