Harris Computer is seeking an Account Follow-up Representative II to review and resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts. You will learn multiple hospital systems, perform research, and work with third-party payors to obtain information for resolving unpaid claims.

This remote role is eligible to anyone in the U.S. and requires meticulous data handling, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently to meet 90-day resolution targets.

Qualifikationen

• High School or equivalent diploma
• 3+ years’ experience in related medical field
• Must be able to follow directions and perform work independently
• Must be emotionally mature and able to function under high pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Customer Service oriented

Aufgaben

• Timely follow-up on hospital patient accounts to verify payment status and rebill to insurance
• Work 40-50 accounts per day per payor
• Address denials and zero pay reports within 24 hours
• Gather demographic, clinical information and authorizations to pay claims
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Analyze denial trends and coordinate with teams to resolve issues
• Identify and prepare less complex claims for reconsiderations/appeals
• Aid leadership in managing AR and 90-day balances post-discharge
• Collaborate with third-party payors to reach resolution
• Deliver education and training for new hires
