Farmers Insurance is seeking an attorney to join its Dallas‑Fort Worth staff counsel team. The role involves representing clients in insurance defense, handling low‑complexity cases, and working from home with in‑person appearances as required.

You will support senior attorneys, participate in hearings and mediations, and collaborate with Claims to address legal aspects of files. A strong communicator with litigation experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior civil litigation or personal injury experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in applicable states.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Litigates low complexity and exposure cases from intake to trial or settlement.
• Attends hearings, conferences, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Consults with the Claims Department on legal aspects of files.
• Provides support to senior attorneys in higher‑complexity matters.
• May handle second chair trials and supervise junior attorneys.
