The role offers 100% remote work with a hybrid option from the Dallas office, and targets 1,600–1,800 billable hours, reflecting a fast-paced civil litigation environment where you collaborate with experienced litigators.

You will manage cases from inception to resolution, draft pleadings and discovery, take depositions, prepare for hearings and trial, and advise clients on exposure.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
• Experience handling insurance defense or complex civil litigation matters.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases, prioritize deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients.
• Trial preparation and courtroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation and insurance defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.

The firm represents a diverse range of clients, including insurance carriers, businesses, and other institutional clients, handling sophisticated litigation matters across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation and insurance defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000–$205,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
