Tyson & Mendes is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of insurance defense experience to join our Philadelphia team. This is a remote opportunity for an attorney who understands insurance defense fundamentals and seeks more ownership, substantive litigation, client interaction, and growth as a litigator.

You will handle files, develop strategy, manage discovery, take depositions, work with experts, communicate with clients and carriers, handle motion practice, and prepare matters for

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Pennsylvania bar license.
• 1–8 years of solid litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload, from discovery through trial.

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling case strategies that drive results.
• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff at all experience levels.
• Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys, contributing to team growth and success.
• Define high standards and push for excellence in every aspect of your work.
