Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of insurance defense experience for a remote role in Philadelphia.

The position offers broad litigation exposure, client interaction, and opportunities to handle files, develop strategies, manage discovery, and prepare matters for trial. Dual PA/NJ admission is preferred, with competitive compensation and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of insurance defense experience required.
• Active Pennsylvania Bar license required.
• Pennsylvania and New Jersey dual admission strongly preferred.
• Prior billing experience is a plus.
• Ability to independently handle and move files forward.
• Strong written, analytical and communication skills.
• Responsive, curious and committed to doing great work.

Responsabilités

• Develop compelling case strategies and drive results.
• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff at all experience levels.
• Maintain professional communication with clients.
• Build relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support team growth.
