Tyson & Mendes in Philadelphia seeks an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of insurance defense experience for a remote role. You will own cases, handle discovery, depositions, and motion practice, and interact with clients and carriers.

This is a real litigation track with leadership from Chris Kelly's team, dual PA/NJ admissions preferred, and opportunity to advance in state and federal defense.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent insurance defense experience
• Active Pennsylvania Bar license required
• Pennsylvania and New Jersey dual admission strongly preferred
• Prior billing experience
• Ability to independently handle and move files forward
• Strong written, analytical and communication skills
• Responsive, curious and committed to doing great work

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling case strategies that cut through emotional arguments and drive results
• Set a higher standard—challenge mediocrity and push for excellence in every aspect of your work
• Independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials
• Collaborate seamlessly with attorneys and staff at all experience levels
