Job summary

Connexa Search Group is seeking an experienced attorney to join an established insurance litigation team in a fully remote capacity across the United States. The role emphasizes insurance coverage analysis, client advisory work, and developing case strategy to move matters toward resolution.

Responsibilities include evaluating policies, preparing coverage opinions, drafting pleadings and motions, and managing depositions and hearings.

Qualifications

• A qualifying law degree and active bar admission in good standing.
• Five or more years of relevant insurance coverage or litigation experience preferred.
• Experience analyzing insurance policies, advising on coverage issues, or litigating insurance disputes.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience handling substantive litigation responsibilities and communicating directly with clients.
• Sound judgment and the ability to develop clear, practical recommendations.
• Strong organization and attention to deadlines.
• Ability to manage work independently while collaborating with a legal team.
• Admission appropriate to the assigned work, with specific requirements discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies, contracts, claim materials, and relevant law to evaluate coverage obligations and potential exposure.
• Prepare coverage opinions, legal memoranda, and practical recommendations for clients.
• Develop case strategies and manage assigned matters through litigation or other dispute resolution proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, substantive motions, written discovery, and settlement documents.
• Take and defend depositions and prepare witnesses as assignments require.
• Participate in hearings, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients about case developments, strategy, and resolution options.
• Coordinate with partners, other attorneys, experts, and support staff.
• Manage competing deadlines and maintain organized matter documentation.
