Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking a Business Development Rep to support contract processing and liaison activities from our O’Neill Marketing Office. The role involves processing contracts, collecting data, and coordinating with agents and carriers to move workflows into production.

The candidate will explain carrier communications, manage appointments and commission changes, and assist more junior contracting staff. Remote-friendly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years in general insurance or related field (financial services, marketing, B2B customer service or call center) experience.

Responsibilities

• Process contracts in Zoho CRM, post notes, email follow-ups, and manage items.
• Contact agents and uplines to collect data and reconnect contracts for production.
• Explain carrier communications to agents.
• Handle state appointments, product additions, and commission changes.
• Support Contracting Associate I/II with new contracts when needed.
• Coordinate with internal management and carrier teams.
• Maintain knowledge of carriers processed by the team.
• Occasionally act for Contracting Manager during absences.
• Identify issues and propose resolutions.
• Collaborate on committees and special projects; assist with help desk and automation support.
