Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. is seeking a remote Collections Representative in the United States to follow up on insurance claims and unpaid balances. You will contact insurance carriers and customers to collect delinquent payments and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities include reviewing unpaid claims, resubmitting or appealing as necessary, and maintaining accurate billing records. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this remote role.

Qualifications

• HS diploma and 1 year related experience required.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; basic computer skills.
• English language proficiency (reading/writing/verbal).

Responsibilities

• Research overdue accounts and follow up by mail or phone.
• Review unpaid/underpaid claims and resubmit or appeal as needed.
• Verify payment information and adjustments with supervisor.
• Coordinate collection activities for delinquent accounts.
• Ensure accurate data entry in the billing system and FDCPA compliance.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding account status and payments.
