Job summary

Annuity Health, LLC is seeking a Remote Insurance Follow-Up Representative to manage hospital and physician claim resolution and collections. You will review accounts, follow up with payers, gather missing information, rebill, and handle appeals as needed.

Responsibilities include providing customer service to contract customers, researching remits and EOBs, collecting payments, and communicating updates. Related experience in medical billing and revenue cycle is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of college preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience preferred.
• Prior medical billing and insurance collections or healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to various healthcare contract customers
• Prepare, research and collect from various contracted health insurance payers
• Research remits and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for complete accurate payments or denials
• Provide or arrange for additional information when needed
• Submit corrected claims or appeals
• Request appropriate adjustments, when required
• Identify items that require client assistance
• Gather payor trends and provides feedback
• Other duties as assigned
