Job summary

Omega Healthcare Management Services is seeking a denial management professional to resolve hospital and physician practice claims. You will analyze denials, coordinate with payers, and perform follow-up on AR across multiple systems.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years in denials/collections, knowledge of CPT/ICD codes, and strong HIPAA compliance. This remote role requires reliable home-office setup and potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology such as CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, HCPCS, co-pay, deductible or co-insurance, and full understanding of hospital/physician billing.
• Industry knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, commercial payors and HIPAA.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Denials Management/Collections/AR Follow-up and experience with standard office software products.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work with insurance companies to resolve outstanding issues.
• Analyze claims and direct toward resolution (Payment, Adjustment & self-pay).
• Perform technical billing and denial follow-up on payer claims.
• Call payers to resolve denials after review.
• Identify process improvements and trends and escalate to Supervisor.
• Maintain records in collections database.
• Mentor new employees and assist in training and development.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies.
