Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform insurance authorization for inpatient/outpatient services per payor guidelines.
• Verify eligibility and authorization using department software.
• Assist with pre-registration and patient data entry in the ADT system.
• Explain potential financial responsibility to patients and coordinate with departments.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and comply with policies.
• Attend mandatory trainings and safety in-services.
