Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Senior Insurance Authorization Specialist to support insurance authorization and verification for patients scheduled for services. This remote role partners with Insurance Authorization I staff and prioritizes accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will assist with training, manage escalations, and liaise between physicians and insurers to secure approvals. A High School Diploma is required; CRCR certification must be obtained within 9 months of hire, and

Responsibilities

• Support Insurance Authorization I staff by selecting accurate medical records and validating demographic and insurance information to secure payment.
• Escalate issues to the department supervisor, track system/process issues, and assist in training and mentoring new hires while meeting accuracy/quality metrics.
• Identify required clinical records and submit the authorization requests to insurers based on plan requirements for approval.
• Act as liaison between ordering physicians and insurance companies to ensure all requirements to secure approval are identified and communicated.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
