Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client service support to the account team.

Under supervision of an Account Manager, you will manage policy expirations, endorsements, renewals, billing, and contract checks while maintaining data integrity across agency systems.

Candidates should have 3+ years of insurance customer service, licensing, and strong communication skills to ensure service excellence and timely processing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of the account support team.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related tasks.
• Support new/renewal business: gather underwriting data, prepare submissions, bind coverage, and follow up.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor activity and suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate workload status with the team.
• Deliver excellent service and respond quickly to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Adopt best practices to improve performance.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership.
