Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative support to the account team and ensure timely policy renewals and accurate processing. The role involves handling endorsements, submissions, and client communications across complex accounts.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of insurance customer service experience, strong analytical skills, and an active license (CISR preferred).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of support staff and account teams.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, renewals, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting info, prepare submissions, bind coverages.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the team.
• Deliver proactive service and uphold IOA values.
