Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client service support to the account team and producers. You will manage policy expirations, endorsements, renewals, and assist with submissions, pricing, and coverages.

The role requires 3+ years of insurance industry experience, active licensing (CISR preferred), and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business processes: client research, submissions, pricing, proposals, binders.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Maintain activity and suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate workload status clearly with the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and respond quickly to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and champion IOA values.
