Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, ensuring accurate renewals, endorsements, and policy management. The role reports to an Account Manager or Producer and emphasizes service excellence and policy compliance.

The position involves leading team activities, maintaining carrier relationships, and supporting both new and renewal business initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing or professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business with research, underwriting information, submissions, proposals, and pricing.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and pursue collections as needed.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests.
