Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client support, ensuring timely renewals and accurate policy handling. The role emphasizes service quality, direct collaboration with the account team and leadership responsibilities for support staff.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of insurance customer service experience, active licensing (CISR preferred), strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active insurance license required; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations for existing clients and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related items.
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and pricing, bind coverage, and follow up for issuance.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and manage collections; maintain data accuracy in systems.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
