Job summary

Core Insulation Contractors LLC, an IR Pros company, seeks an experienced Estimator to support industrial insulation, commercial insulation, and firestopping projects. This fully remote position reports to the Estimating Manager and President – Industrial Division.

You will review project documents, perform accurate takeoffs, verify pricing, and prepare competitive estimates and bid packages for a variety of projects, including piping, ductwork, tanks, HVAC, and plumbing.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating industrial insulation projects and reading blueprints.
• Proficient with takeoffs, pricing, and bid packages.
• Remote work ability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review requests for estimates and project documentation.
• Read blueprints and determine project scope and requirements.
• Prepare detailed takeoffs for insulation projects and develop competitive bids.
• Enter takeoff data into MIKE and Visual Takeoff systems.
• Verify pricing on material, labor, and subcontractors.
• Prepare bid packages with pricing, scope, and clarifications.
