Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for industrial mechanical insulation projects. You will lead bidding efforts, coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure complete and timely submissions for complex multi-scope work.

The role supports the Great Plains territory (IA, NE, SD, ND) remotely, requiring strong communication and leadership to drive bids from initiation to submission.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industrial mechanical insulation estimating experience.
• Experience with industrial services such as siding, coating, or scaffolding.
• Firestop estimating experience is a plus.
• MEP project estimating experience is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency with estimating software and Excel.
• Experience using CAD and/or Bluebeam software.
• MIKE piping take-off experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex bid packages end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for industrial insulation projects.
• Lead coordinating bids with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
• Discuss design changes, value engineering, and scheduling with stakeholders.
• Read drawings and specs to produce takes-offs and proposals.
• Develop complete packages for large multi-scope projects.
• Ensure timely bid submissions and document pricing summaries.
