Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking an Instructional Technology Support Specialist to assist faculty with classroom technology, LMS configuration, and course maintenance for online, hybrid, and web-enhanced courses. You’ll collaborate with deans, faculty, and instructional design teams to ensure accessibility and accuracy across courses.

The role requires LMS experience, HTML and MS Office skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks with strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1–2 years’ experience with a learning management system.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HTML; strong communication skills.
• Must be highly organized with multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to work in a team and respond to multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to an academic department for course accessibility and functionality.
• Assist with staging course setup for online faculty.
• Review staging courses for accuracy against syllabus and revise as directed.
• Maintain course layout to align with programmatic expectations and components.
• Update course content, rubrics, gradebooks, and learning outcomes as needed.
