Job summary

Team Carney, Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Systems Designer to support the FDIC Corporate University Course Maintenance Program. This full-time, remote role involves updating courseware across ILT, VILT, and WBT formats, with quarterly travel to the FDIC Dallas Regional Office in TX.

You will collaborate with FDIC CU staff and SMEs, ensure accessibility per Section 508, and develop WBT and multimedia assets using tools like Lectora and Camtasia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related subject.
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional field instructional design experience.
• DHS Trusted Tester trained or certified (preferred or able to meet program testing requirements).
• Demonstrated experience across ILT, VILT, WBT, multimedia, and job aids.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, revise, and modernize a catalog of courses and training collateral.
• Update learning assets across ILT, VILT, WBT, video, and job aids to align with standards and accessibility guidelines.
• Collaborate with FDIC CU personnel, SMEs, and technical monitors.
• Develop asynchronous Web-Based Training using approved templates and authoring tools (e.g., Lectora).
• Create, script, and caption instructional multimedia (Camtasia) and prepare SRT/VTT captions.
