Job summary

Team Carney, Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to modernize the USPTO training curriculum for a key federal client.

You will write storyboards, scripts, and interactive assessments for 25 modules, collaborating with development teams in a fully remote setting. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Instructional Design, Education, or English, 4+ years of experience, strong technical writing, and government contracting exposure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or English.
• Strong technical writing capabilities.
• Experience turning highly technical, legal, or procedural regulatory documents into digestible course flow.
• Working in a Government contracting environment experience requested.
• Recent USPTO and Patent program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write storyboards, scripts, and interactive assessments for the 25 target eLearning modules.
• Collaborate within development teams to modernize the USPTO training curriculum.
• Support senior designers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
