Team Carney, Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer for a fully remote role with a preference for candidates in the DC/MD/VA area. You will help modernize the USPTO training curriculum by writing storyboards, scripts, and interactive assessments for 25 eLearning modules.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in instructional design, strong technical writing skills, and experience translating technical or regulatory content into digestible courses within a government contracting context.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or English.
• Strong technical writing capabilities.
• Experience turning highly technical, legal, or procedural regulatory documents into digestible course flow.
• Working in a Government contracting environment experience requested.
• Recent USPTO and Patent program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Instructional Designer will write storyboards, scripts, and interactive assessments for 25 target eLearning modules based on the redesigned curriculum.
