Job summary

Team Carney, Inc. is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer / Consultant to modernize USPTO training curricula.

You will lead Training Consultation for Program Revision, analyze 125 existing courses, and collaborate with SMEs to modernize pedagogy and design the curriculum blueprint. This fully remote role supports a key federal client and requires government contracting experience, with a preference for USPTO/patent program exposure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Master's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, or Curriculum.
• Experience revising high-volume curriculums (≥40 courses preferred).
• Expert grasp of modern learning models, gamification, and AI-assisted instruction.
• Consultation experience for potential legal content.
• Experience in classroom learning environments and consultation on classroom technology requirements.
• Working in a Government contracting environment experience requested.
• Recent USPTO and Patent program experience preferred.
