Job summary

ClassLink is hiring an Instructional Designer to join the Learning Design team in a fully remote role reporting to the Manager of Learning Design. You will design and develop engaging online courses that simplify technical concepts for educators and IT leaders, using Articulate Rise and video tools.

You’ll collaborate across teams in an agile environment and contribute to continuous improvement of our learning solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning, or similar fields.
• Expertise in rapid content development using Articulate Rise and video editing tools (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Premiere).
• Previous experience working in a remote environment.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Occasional travel (~20%) for team meetups.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive, online learning experiences that simplify technical concepts for educators and IT leaders.
• Create engaging courses featuring conversational language, simulations, high-quality videos, and interactive elements.
• Leverage adult learning principles and multimedia best practices to build effective training content.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently in an agile development environment, meeting deadlines while maintaining high quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders, influencing product development and ensuring training aligns with user needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying ways to enhance our learning experiences and supporting documentation.
