ABB is offering a remote internship in the United States to gain practical experience in instructional design and technical training. You will support ABB's training operations by developing online content, e-learning modules, how-to videos, webinars, and classroom materials while learning from a Technical Training Manager.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s program and can work remotely, with strong organization, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in Instructional Design, Marketing, Business Administration Teaching/ Training, or related fields, in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with various teams to support ABB's operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines.
• Responsible for all assigned product training requirements, including online e-learning, how-to-videos, webinar content, virtual classroom content, and face-to-face content creation, as well as maintenance, improvements, and updates as needed.
• Assist in the needs assessment process and make suggestions to improve design, creation, innovation, and updates of training programs or materials.
• Collaborates with other Instructional Designers and subject matter experts in the development of train-the-trainer materials enhancing the demonstration of delivery concepts and improving the customer journey.
• Requires ability to storyboard and develop easily accessible and understood technical solutions based on application and specific customer needs.
