Job summary

Western Landowners Alliance is seeking a Development professional to lead grant writing, reporting, and donor relations. The role focuses on institutional funders to support WLA priorities.

You will collaborate with leadership and teams to drive strategy, manage proposals and budgets, and cultivate funder partnerships. The position is remote with a Western US location preference, offering a salary range of $75,000–$90,000 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years’ grant writing and management experience.
• Experience with government or nonprofit environmental conservation.
• Knowledge of federal uniform guidance related to budgets and match tracking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify funding opportunities aligned with WLA priorities and funder interests.
• Manage proposals, reports, and deliverables calendar.
• Develop and implement grant strategy for growth and expansion.
• Manage funder relationships with regular meetings and site visits.
• Lead cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for institutional funders.
