Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in institutional fundraising or grant management.
• Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• Excellent written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with growth into proposal writing and donor engagement.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Experience in international development, especially sub-Saharan Africa, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research funding opportunities aligned with Village Enterprise's strategy.
• Prepare donor profiles and conduct due diligence on potential donors.
• Collaborate with Development and Programs teams on proposal strategy and design.
• Coordinate inputs from programs, finance, and M&E for proposal narratives.
• Track opportunities and ensure alignment with fundraising priorities.
• Support donor reporting processes and maintain grant records in Salesforce.
