Job summary

The Institute for Study Abroad (IFSA) seeks an Assistant Manager, Institutional Engagement & Events to grow enrollment and institutional adoption of IFSA-Designed and Career Accelerator programs. You will develop partnerships, engage campuses, and manage events across time zones.

Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll plan webinars, campus engagements, and advisory meetings while tracking outcomes to inform future strategy. Remote USA with periodic travel to Indianapolis and partner sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in event planning, international education, or related field.
• Experience working with university stakeholders such as study abroad offices, faculty, academic departments, career centers, advisors, or student organizations.
• Ability to learn varied academic and career-focused programs, communicate relevance, manage priorities, and travel as needed.
• Knowledge of social media and digital marketing tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, and shared cloud storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Institutional Engagement (50%): support strategies to increase awareness, approval, and enrollment.
• Partner with Institutional Engagement Managers to identify priority institutions and faculty.
• Coordinate outreach from awareness to program review, approval, and enrollment.
• Support Midwest regional engagement and broader Institutional Engagement portfolio.
• Manage a portfolio with goals tied to program adoption, engagement, and enrollment.
• Translate priorities into tailored communications for audiences.
