Job summary

Sumitomo Electric is seeking an Insights Analyst to join its Growth Marketing team on a 6-month contract, fully remote in the United States. You will handle a high volume of quantitative analyses, build dashboards in Tableau, and write efficient SQL queries while applying Python for data manipulation.

This role requires strong communication, rigorous testing, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2+ years in a data/analytics role, marketing analytics a plus.
• Strong SQL skills are required.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis.
• Hands-on Tableau experience building dashboards.
• Experience with GitHub for version control.
• Familiarity with marketing concepts and metrics.
• Experience with A/B testing is a plus; AI tools familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Field and execute ad-hoc analyses across the marketing org.
• Synthesize findings to surface patterns and give recommendations.
• Design and maintain Tableau dashboards for real-time visibility.
• Write and optimize SQL queries across multiple sources.
• Use Python to automate repetitive analyses and handle large datasets.
• Establish scalable code management practices using GitHub.
• Translate findings into concise, actionable takeaways for all stakeholders.
• Collaborate daily with the Growth Marketing team in a fast-paced setting.
