Job summary

Skydio Inc. is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to support our National Security business. This remote, full-time role will be the first touchpoint for federal, military, and defense customers, handling inbound qualification, discovery, quotes, and reseller support.

You will collaborate with NatSec AEs, Field Sales, and Federal Program Managers to drive opportunities through to close. The role emphasizes organization, urgency, and clear communication in a complex government sales

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in sales or related customer-facing roles.
• Experience in government, federal, military, defense, or B2B sales preferred.
• Strong discovery, qualification, quoting, follow-up, and transactional deal execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Organized, able to manage priorities in a fast-paced remote environment for NatSec sales.

Responsibilities

• Own NatSec inbound motion from first response through qualification.
• Conduct discovery to understand needs, procurement timing, budget and buying process.
• Run transactional opportunities end-to-end: quoting, procurement support, follow-up, close.
• Build accurate quotes and coordinate pricing for government solicitations.
• Collaborate with NatSec AEs, Field Sales, and Federal Program Managers on requests and handoffs.
• Attend industry events to capture leads and drive post-event follow-up.
• Maintain CRM records and optimize inbound qualification and handoffs.
