Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
• High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of sales, customer service, or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of promoting and selling products or services required.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
• Knowledge of metals industry suggested.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance, development, and growth of customer accounts via face-to-face and virtual communication.
• Serves as the primary contact for customers and maintains relationships.
• Manages assigned customer accounts to grow business opportunities.
• Partners with customers to identify needs and provide mutually beneficial solutions.
• Generates new business and drives repeat business by ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Schedules and completes limited visits to assigned accounts.
• Analyzes historical trends of material usage to understand needs and improve service.
• Educates customers about additional value-add services to meet goals.
• Assists with inventory management and developing inventory levels.
• Highlights product features based on technical knowledge of capabilities.
