Job summary

Humana is seeking an experienced Inpatient Medical Coding Auditor to review inpatient hospital claims for proper reimbursement and accurate DRG assignments. This remote role may require occasional travel for training or meetings, with standard business hours and a focus on data-driven, compliant coding practices.

You will analyze records, respond to internal information requests, and ensure confidentiality while adhering to HIPAA.

Qualifications

• RHIA, RHIT or CCS certification with at least 4 years in the field.
• Experience reading and interpreting claims and inpatient coding reviews.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient hospital claims for proper reimbursement and DRG assignments.
