Medasource is partnering with a leading regional health system to hire experienced Inpatient Medical Coders for a fully remote contract opportunity. This role supports a high-acuity, multi-specialty environment and is ideal for coders with strong experience handling complex inpatient cases.

Start date ASAP, 6-month contract with potential extension. Remote work aligns with PST hours; applicants should have CCS/RHIT/RRHIA credentials and solid Epic EHR + 3M encoder experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of inpatient coding experience.
• CCS certification preferred; RHIT or RHIA credentials will also be considered.
• Experience with Epic EHR.
• Experience with the 3M encoder.
• Experience in academic medical centers or trauma facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate inpatient coding across a wide range of specialties.
• Assign diagnosis and procedure codes per standards.
• Maintain timely and accurate coding in a fast-paced environment.
• Meet established productivity and quality expectations.
