Job summary

Medasource is partnering with a regional health system to hire experienced Inpatient Medical Coders for a fully remote contract opportunity. This role supports a high-acuity, multi-specialty environment and is ideal for coders with strong experience handling complex inpatient cases.

The position requires CCS or RHIT/RHIA credentials preferred, 3+ years inpatient coding, Epic EHR proficiency, and familiarity with the 3M encoder.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of inpatient coding experience.
• Strong multi-specialty inpatient coding background.
• Experience with Epic EHR.
• Experience using the 3M encoder.
• CCS certification preferred; RHIT/RHIA credentials will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate inpatient coding across a wide range of specialties.
• Assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes per standards.
• Maintain timely and accurate coding in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
