Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. is seeking a Coding Specialist to join its remote team. You will handle CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across multiple specialties, work from home, and maintain strong accuracy and productivity with a 95%+ score.

You must be certified by AAPC or AHIMA, have at least 2 years of coding experience, and be proficient with EMR systems such as 3M Encompass or 3M encoder. Excellent communication and privacy compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through either the AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P).
• Minimum 2 years of on-the-job coding experience.
• Reliable internet connection and home-office setup.
• Working knowledge of EMR and Billing systems.
• Must maintain productivity of 95%+ and quality of 95%+.
• Strong communication, written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work from home and be independent in coding skills.
• Code for hospitalists, nephrology, bedside procedures and other specialties.
• EMR experience: 3M Encompass or 3M encoder.
• Provide components of coding services to support clients.
• Calculate ProFee and Facility E/M levels using internal algorithms.
• Code surgical procedures typical of ER settings and apply ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS.
• Interpret coding guidelines and ensure accurate code assignment.
• Maintain privacy and security of PHI and comply with company ethics.
