Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification is required.
• Four years of administrative experience in compliance, coding, or related revenue-cycle functions.

Responsibilities

• Educate providers on government regulations with emphasis on Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and HIPAA.
• Identify coding and billing risk areas, conduct focused reviews, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct routine internal audits of provider documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to improve documentation, coding, and compliance.
• Communicate with Medicare/Medicaid carriers and third-party payers regarding policies and procedures.
• Promote compliance initiatives with clinical faculty and administration.
