Job summary

R.A.M. Healthcare Consulting Group seeks an Inpatient Coder for a 6-9 month contract that may extend, with 100% remote work. The role supports full-time or part-time schedules (M-F dayshift).

Requirements include 3 years inpatient coding experience, AHIMA CCS/RHIA/RHIT credentials, and hands-on Epic and Optum 360 experience, plus prior work at large California hospitals (200+ beds, Level I Trauma, Academic Facility).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Inpatient Coder will have experience in all trauma procedure coding, cardiac procedure coding, neurology, spinal fusion, etc., accept and respond to feedback, and communicate effectively. The Inpatient Coder must have AHIMA CCS, RHIA and/or RHIT. This is a 6-9 month contract position with possibility of extension. This is a 100% remote position. Looking for Full-time 40 hours per week or Part-time 25+ hours per week, Must be M-F dayshift schedule.

Job Qualifications:

• Required: A minimum of 3 years of inpatient coding experience
• Required: CCS, RHIA and/or RHIT credential
• Required: Software System experience with Epic and Optum 360
• Required: Experience at California larger hospitals with at least 200+ beds, Level I Trauma and Academic Facility
