Job summary

Medasource is partnering with a leading regional health system to hire experienced Inpatient Medical Coders for a fully remote contract opportunity. This role supports a high-acuity, multi-specialty environment and is ideal for coders with strong experience handling complex inpatient cases.

The position requires CCS certification (RHIT/RHIA considered) and at least three years of inpatient coding experience, with proficiency in Epic EHR and 3M encoder.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of inpatient coding experience.
• Experience with multi-specialty inpatient coding.
• Proficiency with Epic EHR and 3M encoder.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate inpatient coding across multiple specialties.
• Assign diagnosis and procedure codes per standards.
