Medasource is partnering with a leading regional health system to hire experienced Inpatient Medical Coders for a fully remote contract opportunity. This role supports a high-acuity, multi-specialty environment and is ideal for coders with strong experience handling complex inpatient cases.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years inpatient coding experience, proficiency with Epic EHR and the 3M encoder, and familiarity with academic medical centers or trauma facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of inpatient coding experience.
• Strong multi-specialty inpatient coding background.
• Experience in academic medical center or trauma facility preferred.
• Proficiency with Epic EHR and 3M encoder.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate inpatient coding across a wide range of specialties.
• Assign diagnosis and procedure codes per standards.
• Maintain timely and accurate coding in a fast-paced environment.
• Meet productivity and quality expectations.
