Qualificações

• Four years of inpatient coding experience preferred.
• Current AHIMA or AAPC credentials required or must be certified within one year of hire.
• Proficiency with ICD-10-CM, CPT-4, HCPCS and coding modifiers.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately assigns codes for inpatient accounts and DRG, adhering to guidelines.
• Code all high-dollar accounts (> $100K) and rehab accounts.
• Abstracts relevant information from inpatient records into the system.
• Code across all IP service lines and meet quality/productivity standards.
• Demonstrates proficiency with 3M encoder and EMR tools.
