DaMar Staffing is seeking a remote Certified Hospital Inpatient Coder to support acute inpatient coding across Cardio, Ortho, and Oncology, with ICD-10-PCS for hospital reimbursement.

Candidates must have 2+ years of acute inpatient coding experience and hold CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification, with CAC tools familiarity. Must reside in one of the allowed states in the U.S., and perform with a target accuracy of 95% and productivity standards. This role offers flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient coding experience.
• Certification required: CCS, RHIT, or RHIA.
• Experience with ICD-10 PCS coding across specialties.
• Familiarity with Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform acute inpatient coding for diverse specialties including Cardio, Ortho, and Oncology.
• Ensure coding accuracy meets a standard score of 95% or above while maintaining productivity standards of 2.75 charts/hour.
• Utilise Computer Assisted Coding tools and collaborate with teams to optimize DRG reimbursement methodologies.
