Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Remote Inpatient Coder to join the Health Information Management team. The role requires CCS (or RHIA/RHIT/CIC) credentials, 15+ years of coding experience, and prior academic medical center exposure. Epic experience is preferred, with training completed within the first week and productivity targets to be met.

The position offers remote work, weekly pay at an hourly rate of $32.00–$40.00, and a multiple-benefit package including health, dental, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must have CCS credential or RHIA/RHIT/CIC.
• Over 15 years of coding experience.
• Prior academic medical center experience required.
• Experience with Epic preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Code inpatient services with accuracy.
• Maintain 95% DRG and overall accuracy rate.
• Maintain productivity standards.
• Work the review queue daily and communicate corrections.
• Code or pending every chart placed in queue.
