Managed Resources, Inc. is hiring a Facility Inpatient Coder for cardiology/multispecialty coding in a remote, full-time capacity. The role focuses on ICD-10-CM/PCS coding, POA indicators, APR-DRG & MS-DRG, CPT, modifiers, and APC assignment across client projects.

The ideal candidate has RHIT/CCS/CIC credentials, AHIMA ICD-10-CM/PCS knowledge, and 5+ years of coding and abstraction experience with strong Excel/EMR proficiency. Remote collaboration with a national team is expected.

Qualifications

• Current credentials RHIT, CCS, or CIC.
• AHIMA ICD-10-CM/PCS certification/knowledge.
• 5+ years’ experience in abstracting ICD-10-CM/PCS, POA, APR-DRG & MS-DRG, CPT, APC.
• Advanced knowledge of surgical and medical specialties.
• Strong medical terminology and research ability.

Responsibilities

• Abstract ICD-10-CM/PCS, POA, APR-DRG & MS-DRG, CPT, modifiers & APC from medical records.
• Incorporate provider recommendations into executive summaries.
• Meet minimum productivity standards and QA targets.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect PHI.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
